Summer Learning Programs

We are excited to offer summer learning opportunities in SLUSD! Students enrolled in San Leandro Unified School District have several options to participate in expanded learning programs this summer.

To help equip students with essential skills for the upcoming school year, SLUSD will offer the following 2026 Summer Learning Programs. Students who may benefit from strengthening foundational literacy and math skills or additional preparation for the next grade level will be invited to participate.

SLUSD staff will refer students based on multiple measures, including grades, assessment results, and local student data. Families/Guardians and students will be notified of their referral by email by April 3rd.  K-8 students who have been referred to the Summer Expanded Learning Opportunities Program must also submit the Boys & Girls Club Application between April 7-17.
