Resolution 21-18 affirms our districtwide support for our fellow Asian/Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community members. With the increase in racially motivated harassment, intimidation, physical violence, and deadly attacks against the AAPI community, ongoing vocal support is one way to bring desperately needed attention to these hate crimes and bigotry.
Under the state’s “Safe Schools for All” plan, SLUSD is required to submit three documents to the state in order to reopen schools:
– CalOSHA plan that details steps we are taking to provide safe facilities and protocols for employees.
– COVID-19 Safety Plan, which is a revised version of the plan we submitted to county agencies in December.
