Aeries FAQs

The Aeries Parent and Student Portals are available for both parent and student use. Parents and students must have accounts created before they can access the features of the Aeries Parent and Student Portals.

Where can I access the Parent Portal Account?

Parents can access the Aeries Parent Portal from any computer or device with internet access. The direct link to the portal is: https://aeries.slusd.us/parent

Do I need an email address to create a Parent Portal Account?

Yes, parents need a valid email address to create a portal account. If you don’t have one, you can get a free email account at www.gmail.com

How do I create a Parent Portal Account?

In order to create an account, please refer to the letter that you received from the school district, and follow the steps provided to you. If you haven’t received the letter from the school district, or you lost it, please contact the parent facilitator at your school site and request a copy of the letter.

What information can I view on Aeries Parent Portal?

Parents will have access to view gradebooks, transcripts, daily attendance, and test scores. Parents will also have the option to update emergency contact information and medical information from their portal account.

Do I need two different accounts for two children?

If you already have a Portal Account for your high school child, you don’t need to create another account in order to access the information for your second child. Log in to your portal account, and on the top right hand side of the screen, you have the option to add another student.

Can more than one parent/guardian have an account to access student data?

Yes, more than one parent can have a Parent Portal account, as long as they use their own email address.

What should I do if I forget my password?

Go to: https://aeries.slusd.us/parent and click on Forgot Password. Enter your email address and an email will be sent to you with instructions on how to reset your password.

My student already has an account, do I still need to create one?

Yes, student accounts do not have access to the Data Confirmation. If you don’t have an Aeries Parent Portal account, you will need to create one by following these steps.

What if my information has not changed from my previous school year? Do I still need to do the Data Confirmation?

Every year families families are required to confirm and update their student information, review the San Leandro Unified School District key policies and approve important forms the school district must have on file for every student. This process is mandatory for all families even if your student information hasn’t changed from the previous school year.

Why do I need to create an Aeries Portal account?

Aeries Parent Portal provides you access to: student grades, daily attendance, transcripts, update emergency contacts, medical information, etc. You also need to have an Aeries Parent Portal account to complete the mandatory Data Confirmation process.

I don’t have a computer, how can I complete the Data Confirmation process?

If you do not have access to a computer to complete the Data Confirmation, please contact the office manager at your school site and they will provide you access to a computer at the school site.

My phone number changed and/or I moved to a different address in the middle of the school year. Can I still update my student information?

We encourage families to update their student information via the Aeries Parent Portal anytime important information changes (e.g.: phone number, emergency contacts, home address). Sign in to your Aeries Parent Portal account at any time, and click on Student Info > Data Confirmation to make any updates.

I am not getting the automatic calls or I want to stop receiving calls from the school site. Where do I update my notification preferences?

Parents/Legal Guardians can only opt out from receiving General Announcements but not from receiving Daily Attendance Calls and/or Emergency Announcements. To update your Notification Preference, sign in to your Aeries Parent Portal account and see the Aeries Communication section on the left side of your screen. Any changes to your Notification Preferences takes 48h to update.

Who should I contact if I can’t access my Aeries Portal account?

If you need support with your Aeries Parent Portal account or the Data Confirmation process, please contact the Office Manager or the Parent Facilitator at your school site.
