Time: Events begin at 3 pm (Late / Same Day Registration starts at 2:30 pm at the track)
Who: Any student in grades TK through 8th who attends a San Leandro School or live in San Leandro

All schools and district offices are back from break and excited to jump into 2023!
These programs support bilingualism and biliteracy, grade-level academic achievement, and positive cross-cultural competencies. Instruction is in both English and the target language. Instruction is differentiated in all content areas (elementary) and specific content areas (secondary). All activities lead to cultural competency and promote a positive self-image. Spanish Immersion programs are available at Halkin, Jefferson, Washington Elementary schools, and Bancroft Middle School. The Mandarin Immersion program is available at Madison Elementary School (starting in Fall 2023).
