Area 5 – Paul Mueller

Paul Mueller is an SLUSD parent and active school volunteer who has served on a school site council and coached youth baseball. Through those experiences, he has worked closely with educators and families, gaining a deeper understanding of the decisions that shape students’ school experiences.

His professional background includes manufacturing, advanced transportation, and artificial intelligence. Mueller hopes to bring that experience to conversations about how schools can help students build strong academic skills and prepare for a changing world, whether their paths lead to college or directly into careers.

“I am honored to represent Area 5 and serve our students and educators,” Mueller said. “I look forward to listening to our community and working with my fellow trustees to make thoughtful decisions that support every student.”

Mueller will serve the remainder of the Area 5 term, which expires in November 2028.
