Lincoln High School

Welcome to Lincoln High School

Lincoln High School is an alternative pathway to earn your high school diploma in San Leandro.  We nurture a small community of scholars focused on credit recovery and post-high school endeavors. Lincoln offers a variety of responsive, personalized educational pathways for career and college readiness. Through the use of student-centered learning, the pathways we seek to create serve as both a trajectory and a bridge to ensure our students’ success in the 21st Century. Lincoln is a community of scholars and dedicated staff who take a holistic approach to empower a select cohort of students who seek to get back on track and are eager to recover their credits. Through encouragement, motivation, and engagement our professional staff strives to assist students to enhance their development, growth, and academic success.

As a district, we strive to build a culture of excellence and LAEC (Lincoln Alternative Education Center) offers a variety of responsive, personalized educational pathways for career and college readiness. By providing smaller class sizes coupled with an inclusive learning environment, we seek to create a healthy mix of course curriculum that focuses on various learning styles. Through this model, Lincoln offers two programs to help bridge and usher in our students’ success in the 21st century.

Lincoln (Continuation) High School is a credit recovery high school designed for students 16 or older who are committed to recovering credits and reaching their academic goals. Our Lincoln Scholars take advantage of this second chance opportunity to ultimately receive their high school diploma.

San Leandro High School Independent Study offers students the ability to maintain A-G eligibility while completing most of their course work on their own so that they can attend to other responsibilities that interfere with them attending classes during the school day.
