The LCP summarizes the actions taken by the district to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic and the Governor’s order to conduct teaching and learning through a distance model to ensure safety.
The SLUSD school board meeting scheduled for tomorrow night, August 18th at 6:00 pm, has been canceled due to the potential for power outage activity during the meeting. Our next school board meeting will be on September 15th. We also have an additional school board meeting scheduled on September 29th to ensure all school board business can be conducted in a timely manner. At this time, we do not anticipate these outages to affect our ability to conduct distance learning this week during school hours. TK-5: Learning at home can be tough for everyone! Learn strategies to support your elementary school child at home during distance learning. We know this is hard! Your child is now learning in a new space, and it can be challenging to balance school with being at home. Come to this session to learn how to ease the challenges you and child may be experiencing.
