Class of 2026 Graduation Information
Graduation Ceremony
Date: Thursday, June 4
Location: Burrell Field
Time: 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM
Graduation Rehearsal (Mandatory): Tuesday, June 2 at Burrell Field at 8:20 AM
Parking will be available at:
- The main parking lot (including overflow lot)
- Street parking
- Marina Center
ADA accessible parking will be available in the main lot.
Graduation Tickets
- Each graduate may invite four guests.
- All guests must pre-register and bring a virtual or printed ticket for entry.
- Tickets are single-entry and non-transferable.
- Children age two and under do not need a ticket if seated on a lap.
Guest List Changes
- Graduates may update their guest list until May 30.
- After that date, the list will be locked.
- Ticket access will be available after the mandatory graduation practice on June 2.
Senior Expectations
As seniors prepare for graduation, we want to support them in finishing the year strong and celebrating this important milestone together. To participate in graduation and senior activities, students are expected to remain in good standing academically, maintain strong attendance, and follow school expectations. After reviewing this section, please complete the Senior Expectations/ Acknowledgement Form .
Academics
Seniors should remain on track to graduate by keeping up with their coursework and ensuring they have no failing grades, missing credits, or incomplete assignments.
Attendance
Regular attendance continues to be important through the end of the school year. Seniors are expected to maintain at least 95% attendance, arrive on time to class, and avoid unexcused absences or cutting classes.
Behavior
Graduation and senior events are celebrations of our school community. Students are expected to follow school expectations both on and off campus. This includes avoiding behaviors such as fighting, drug or alcohol use, vaping, vandalism, or harassment.
Graduation Practice
Participation in graduation rehearsal is required for students who plan to take part in the ceremony. Students who miss rehearsal may not be able to participate in graduation.
Maintaining Eligibility
Participation in graduation and senior privileges is connected to meeting these expectations. If concerns arise, privileges may be temporarily restricted. When students demonstrate improvement and receive approval from school administration, those privileges may be restored.
Graduation Ceremony Expectations
Graduation is a meaningful celebration for our students, families, and school community. To help the ceremony run smoothly and ensure that every graduate and guest has a positive experience, we ask students and families to follow the expectations below.
For Graduates
Seniors are expected to meet all graduation requirements and remain in good standing through the end of the school year. On the day of graduation, students should arrive at least 60 minutes before the ceremony begins and follow all school and community expectations while participating in the event.
Graduates should also help ensure the ceremony remains respectful and safe by following directions from staff and remaining in designated areas during the event.
For Families and Guests
Families play an important role in helping the ceremony run smoothly. Guests must bring their ticket for entry, as admission is limited to registered ticket holders. We also ask families to help maintain a respectful environment by following event guidelines and exiting Burrell Field within 20 minutes after the ceremony concludes so staff can safely close the event.
Items and Activities Not Allowed at Graduation
To keep the ceremony safe and enjoyable for everyone, the following items and activities are not permitted at the graduation ceremony or on district property:
- Tobacco products, marijuana, vape products, alcohol, or weapons of any kind
- Fireworks or celebratory explosives, including confetti poppers
- Large signs, balloons, or objects that may block the view of other guests
- Air horns or other loud noisemakers
- Jumping barriers, running on the field, or rushing the stage
- DJs, vendor carts, or organized celebration displays on district property
We appreciate everyone’s cooperation in helping us celebrate the Class of 2026 in a way that is joyful, safe, and respectful for all.

Community Service Graduation Cords
Seniors may earn a gold graduation cord by completing 50 or more hours of community service.
- Service logs are available in the AP Office or Ms. King’s Room (Room 215).
- Completed forms must be submitted to Ms. King by April 3.

Caps and Gowns
All seniors will have access to a cap and gown for graduation. Students who need one may borrow a cap and gown free of charge from the Assistant Principals Office. No student will miss graduation due to cost.
Students who would like to purchase their own cap and gown may place an order through Jostens.
Orders should be placed by March 30.
Orders placed after March 30 will include a $9 late price increase.
