San Leandro High School’s Drama Department will present Matilda The Musical at the San Leandro Performing Arts Center on March 17-19 & March 24-26, directed by Amy Weinstein, with music directed by Kimberly Braun and choreography by Dallas Wright-Morash.
Matilda is a children’s story about a little girl with incredible intellect and magic powers who goes unnoticed and is neglected by her uncaring family. Her adventures start during her first day of school when she meets her new friends, who all go on a journey together to face their days at school dealing with the infamous headmistress Agatha Trunchbull.
