Student Spotlight Episode#3: How San Leandro Adult & Career Education Center Provided our Student the opportunity to pivot into a new career

Amaobi Ajawara is a student who first pursued his dream of becoming a filmmaker, earning a master’s degree in the field. However, after some years in the industry, it wasn’t as fulfilling as he had expected, and he ultimately suffered from burnout. This reality motivated him to pursue a different industry thus, the nursing program at San Leandro Adult& Career Education Center.

This decision positioned him for great success in our nursing program, winning the Superintendent Award for excellence and perseverance. Come hear his story on Friday July 17th.
