Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)

The PTO is a group comprised of parents, teachers, and staff dedicated to improving the educational experience of all students at Garfield Elementary. Our goals are to encourage interaction between family and school, serve as a source of support, and work with teachers, staff, and the community at large to improve our children’s educational experience. The PTO works closely with the school administration to meet this goal. The PTO helps ensure that students receive the support they need to succeed in and out of school. 

Garfield hopes for your support at the PTO meetings.  We also welcome teachers to our meetings, who share their expertise about instructional programs. That is the time we can all get together and form a support group to improve our children’s education and thereby the welfare of everyone’s future.
