Intervention and After School Programming

Cynthia Epps is the Monroe Intervention Specialist. The intervention room is located in the Computer lab and can reached at extension 3137 and email address cepps@slusd.us

The Intervention Specialist supports all students who may have additional academic or social emotional needs.The Intervention Specialist is crucial in  assisting our students transition back to in-person instruction due to covid. The intervention specialist provides support in various  capacities, such as support  within the classroom, small groups,  individual and social emotional support.We work closely with teachers, principals and specialists to provide support and guidance  with regards to academic success and a healthy  ,social emotional outlook.
