2025 Summer School

We are excited about summer learning in SLUSD! Students enrolled in San Leandro Unified, who have been identified as needing academic support, will be invited to attend the 2025 Summer Learning Program. SLUSD staff will refer students based on multiple factors including grades, test scores, and local assessment data. 

Dates for the 2025 SLUSD Summer Program are Monday – Friday (No School June 19 and July 4th)

  • Elementary, Middle: June 16, 2025 – July 11, 2025 8:00-12:00 pm 
  • Extended School Year: June 16, 2025 – July 11, 2025 8:30-12:00 pm
  • High School Grade/Credit Recovery: June 16, 2025 – July 18, 2025 8:30-2:30pm 
  • Accelerated Algebra for current 8th Grade Students taking Math 8: June 16, 2025 – July 18, 2025-  8:00 am-12:00 pm. If your student is interested please have them complete the Summer Algebra Acceleration Application by April 7, 2025.

Students and families that are referred to the SLUSD Summer Learning Program will be contacted in Mid-April to offer the summer school placement. 

Elementary and Middle school students (rising 6th/7th) enrolled in summer school will also be offered the San Leandro Boys and Girls club afternoon summer camp program.
