Weekly Admin Message

Dear Bancroft Community,

We are in an important time of the school year — CAASPP State Testing is here! (https://www.cde.ca.gov/ta/tg/ca/parentguidetounderstand.asp). This week and next, students will be taking tests in English Language Arts and Math. These assessments are a great opportunity for students to show all the growth and hard work they've put in this year.
We encourage every student to:
  • Show up on time and well-rested each testing day (Tuesday-Friday)
  • Take their time and try their best.
  • Stay positive — every effort counts!
We are so proud of everything our Bronco students have accomplished so far. CAASPP isn't just about scores — it's about demonstrating perseverance, critical thinking, and pride in their learning journey. There are also exciting raffle prizes for students who show up and try their best.
Looking ahead:

We have five weeks left in the school year! Every day matters. Whether it’s completing projects, improving grades, or preparing for the next grade level, students can make a big difference by showing up, staying focused, and finishing strong.

Thank you for being our partners in helping every student reach their full potential! Let's make these last weeks amazing!
As always, please remember to take care of yourself, take care of one another, and take care of Bancroft!

In partnership,
Dr. Sarah, Vice Principal

SLUSD Single/Co-Parenting Family Landing Pad

Tuesday, April 295:00 – 6:00pm

Topic: Sharing our Story

When we can be intentional in acknowledging the ending of one chapter in our story, we allow and make space for the next beginning. As the school year wraps up, our time together does well. Let’s take some time to acknowledge the events of the chapter that is ending, share our hopes and visions for the next chapter that is beginning. This session will support single and co-parent families with TK-12th grade students. Raffle Prizes! Spanish and Chinese translations will be provided.
