There are two upcoming ways for you to provide input for our planning and improvement:
California School Parent Survey: Every year, we ask all families in SLUSD to take the California School Parent Survey, which is now open! This survey is an anonymous, confidential survey of school climate and safety, student wellness, and youth resiliency. We use your feedback to help allocate funding and resources to improve how you and your children experience our schools. Please help us by clicking on your student’s school to take the survey today and watch for information from your schools about how your student will take this survey too!
LCAP Engagement Sessions: LCAP stands for Local Control and Accountability Plan, which is a document that outlines how a school district plans to use its resources to improve student outcomes. School-based LCAP meetings gather input and feedback from parents and community members on the district's plans and priorities. The meetings provide an opportunity to have a say in the direction of the district and to ensure that the needs and interests of the school community are addressed.
Watch your school’s ParentSquare messages for specific details about events at your school. Your voices are essential in our decision-making processes.
