SLUSD Family Landing Pad

Parents and Caregivers have many competing and conflicting demands. We have to juggle the logistics of housework, working the job, keeping up with homework, and maintaining our personal hygiene. One piece of critical feedback from our children or another adult can trigger parental guilt: Am I doing a good enough job raising this child? 

During this interactive session, Blaze Consulting will use the Family Landing Pad, a virtual space for SLUSD parents and caregivers to talk about their experiences caring for children and teens. We will explore parental guilt and how we counter the shame that can arise from the constant criticism that we create in our minds. The session is open to all San Leandro parents/caregivers with TK-12th grade students. Raffle Prizes! Spanish and Chinese interpretations will be provided.
