Now in her 27th year at Jefferson Elementary, Rhonda has been a constant source of inspiration and leadership. Known for going above and beyond to support her students, she continually refines her teaching practice and embraces new learning to ensure success for every child. Even after decades in the classroom, Rhonda continues to stretch her thinking, collaborates generously, and leads with warmth, compassion, and kindness.
Rhonda’s impact extends far beyond her classroom walls. She played a vital role in launching Jefferson’s first-ever Student Council, serves as the school’s Teacher-in-Charge, and is an integral member of the Instructional Leadership Team, where she works tirelessly to expand opportunities for all students. A true mentor and role model, she is recognized for her problem-solving spirit, steady presence, and welcoming smile, which sets a positive tone across campus.
