Principal’s Message

Spring is here and the Broncos are starting off strong!

Over the break the Bancroft Girls Wrestling team took the state championship! Congratulations to the girls team and coach D'Antonio. Special congratulations to Giana B. and Moli T. who placed first in their weight classes. This is Ginna's second win at state finals. WOW!  I think it's safe to say Bancroft is officially a dynasty.

As we enter the final grading period I encourage all Broncos to use their 'Garbage Can' . Spring is a time of change and regrowth. Think about something or someone that has been bothering you. Is it worth those negative feelings? Are there steps that you can take to resolve it? What do you need to place those feelings in the garbage can and move on? Let go of something small and see how it feels.

On Wednesday 4/24 we will start California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress. You may have heard it called CASSPP, STAR or SBAC. These tests are important to assess the academic progress of our students and school. Make sure you are getting plenty of sleep, eating well, and coming to school on time. We will spread the tests over three weeks on block days to make sure it's not overwhelming.

Take care Broncos!

Where do we get "stuck" as parents, and what tools will help us move forward? Let’s acknowledge and celebrate the resilience of Black peoples and the people of the African Diaspora.
