    The physical education program includes grades 1-\u00ad5. It is under the direction of a physical education specialist who also helps teachers plan and implement a full physical education program. All physical education programs emphasize participation and skill development for all children. In addition to the two 45 minute periods each week in this program, additional activities are directed by the classroom teachers.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

    Uniforms are not required for PE, however we do request that students wear appropriate shoes on days that they have PE. Sandals, open toe shoes, shoes with heels, slippers, and Uggs are not appropriate for PE. Student’s should wear shoes that are meant for running, jumping, and various other types of physical activities.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
