Students enrolled in San Leandro Unified, who have been identified as needing academic support, will be invited to attend the 2023 summer learning program. SLUSD staff will refer students based on multiple factors including grades, test scores, and local assessment data. Families of students who do not qualify or students who are looking for a full-day summer enrichment program are encouraged to register at the Boys and Girls Clubs of San Leandro here https://bgcsl.org/program/summer-programs/.
The SLUSD summer academic program will be offered on these dates and locations: (no school on June 19, July 3 & 4)
- June 20 – July 14 (Rising K-6) Time: 8:00 am-12:00 pm (Locations: Halkin & Roosevelt Elementary)
- June 20 – July 14 (Rising 7-9) Time: 8:00 am-12:00 pm (Location: FTK Campus)
- June 15 – July 21 (Rising 10-12) Time: 8:30 am-2:30 pm (Location: FTK Campus)
- June 16 – July 14 (Extended School Year) Time: 8:30 am -12:30 pm (Madison for Elementary and San Leandro HS for Secondary)
We will contact all students and families that are referred to the SLUSD academic summer learning program by March 24 to offer the summer school placement.
