Learning Continuity & Attendance Plan 2020
Senate Bill 98 (SB98) established the Learning Continuity and Attendance Plan (LCP) as a requirement for the 2020-2021 school year.
The LCP summarizes the actions taken by the district to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic and the Governor’s order to conduct teaching and learning through a distance model to ensure safety. You will see descriptions of the steps the district has taken to provide continuity of services for high-quality instruction, along with specialized support for specific student populations. There is also information about the resources and supports provided for our students’ mental health and social-emotional well-being.
The actions and expenditures in this plan have not been finalized. We greatly value your feedback as we complete this process. Alongside this posting, this information will be presented for public hearing during our Governing Board meeting on September 15. Stakeholders are invited to complete the comment forms by September 23. After gathering community feedback, the recommended plan will be presented for adoption at the Governing Board meeting on September 29. The approved Learning Continuity and Attendance Plan will be available to the public on September 30.
