    Get Involved at Roosevelt this year!

    Join the PTA. Membership is $10/year per individual or $20/per family. Sign up online or pick up a membership form at the school office. Members will be added to our mailing list which provides information on upcoming events, ways to volunteer and donation needs. 

    Subscribe to the Calendar. This year, all PTA events will be posted to the online school calendar. Subscribing is easy!

    Volunteer. There are many opportunities to volunteer both in the classroom and in the Roosevelt Community.

    • Room Parents and classroom volunteers Room parents are the Parent Volunteer Leaders. They organize the parent volunteer efforts and communicate classroom needs, including organizing field trip chaperones, volunteer sign ups for special classroom projects/parties and collecting donations for raffle baskets.
    • Special Event Volunteers – Outside of classroom hours, volunteers are needed to help organize, set up and break down at special events. Maybe you can work the next bake sale booth or hand out glow sticks at our Family Dance. We need you!

    Bake. The PTA provides luncheons for our teachers and we greatly appreciate parents who can drop off a dish to help keep our teachers happy. The PTA also offers a bake sale at many of our events. If you like to bake or cook, please contact our Hospitality Chair, Gretchen Lewis at gretchmarklewis@hotmail.com.

    Donate. Make a direct donation to the PTA when you complete your online membership. Or sign up for AmazonSmile and a portion of your Amazon purchases benefit the school, at no cost you! When you sign up, select: Roosevelt Elementary PTA as your charity.  

    Fall Festival. Each year the Roosevelt Community organizes a carnival at the school. There is food, fun and games for all. Manage the bake sale at the fall festival or facilitate a game booth. Arrive early to help set up tables or stay late to help break down. There are many small ways you can help make the Fall Festival a success! Contact the Fall Festival Chair, Mayela Cuevas at maye2221@aol.com to get involved.

    Spring Auction. In the spring, we host our largest fundraiser of the year. Accept tickets at the front door, serve cocktails or organize donation baskets. Pick up donations at local businesses or help decorate the venue. There are many ways you can help!
