Dear Halkin Elementary School Community,<\/span><\/p>

It is both an honor and a privilege to serve as the Principal of Halkin Elementary School\u2014home of the Dolphins\u2014for the 2025\u20132026 school year. At Halkin, we proudly serve over 750 students in grades TK through 5, guided by our core values embodied in the acronym WAVE: <\/span>We are Respectful, Act Responsibly, Value Teamwork, and Everyone\u2019s Safe.<\/span><\/i> These values are supported daily by a dedicated and experienced team of educators and staff who are committed to the success of every student.<\/span><\/p>

As principal, my vision is to lead through an equity lens. At Halkin, we are committed to maintaining high expectations, providing intentional support, and fostering both academic and social-emotional growth for all learners.<\/span><\/p>

Anchored by the SLUSD Graduate Profile, we are focused on cultivating a college-going culture and implementing a robust multi-tiered system of support to ensure every student has the opportunity to thrive.<\/span><\/p>

Estos valores son respaldados a diario por un equipo dedicado y experimentado de educadores y personal comprometidos con el \u00e9xito de cada estudiante.<\/span><\/p>
