High School Summer Learning Academy

LOCATIONS

San Leandro High School, FTK Campus

8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday - Friday (Fridays will be distance learning)

June 16 to July 22: Closed on June 20 and July 4 (holiday observance)

Credit Recovery

High school credit recovery courses are dependent on eligibility and availability. School administrators or counselors will contact you regarding your registration and course options, please complete interest form to secure a spot. 

New Credit Courses

Students are able to earn credit in order to advance their status towards graduation. Offered courses may include:

  • Accelerated Summer Algebra (by application to incoming 9th graders only; information will be shared at middle schools in Spring 2022).

  • Computer Science Institute (grades 9, 10)  Enrollment prioritized for students based on need and referral. Students will earn 5 credits towards graduation.

  • Elevate Math (grades 9, 10) Prepare students for the next level in math through project-based learning activities that address growth mindset, social emotional learning, STEM career awareness, and college readiness. Enrollment prioritized for students based on need and referral. Students will earn 5 elective credits towards graduation.

  • English Language Development (ELD 1-4)

  • Physical Education

  • Visual or Performing Arts

  • World Language

Chabot College Dual Enrollment Summer Academies

Chabot College is offering courses in Health, Digital Media, Business, and Auto Technology through Dual Enrollment Summer Academies.   Students who will be in 10th, 11th, 12th grades next year, or recently graduated high school students are encouraged to join.

If you select Dual Enrollment, you do NOT need to indicate your interest with SLUSD.

High School Internship and Summer Trades Camp Program

Interested in gaining valuable on the job experience? Complete the interest survey form and you will be contacted regarding the Internship 101 course.  Students will earn 5 credits towards graduation.
